The result of an experiment I made using sea shells I collect to imprint molten recycled silver, allowing randomness to have some control over the making process.

Hand-fabricated from recycled sterling silver (925).
Oxidized Satin finish.

The ‘Zero Waste’ is a mini collection based on the philosophy of sustainability and of waste prevention. It consists of stackable rings and stud earrings combos that can be combined with each other or with other jewelry, thus creating a personal and unique style for the wearer. The designs of this collection are hand-crafted using the metal scraps from other designs

sterling silver (925) and bronze – which are heated to melting point, creating free form organic shapes so each piece is slightly different and therefore unique.

MEET THE CAT

The geometric, clear shapes together with the strong linearity is what characterizes Meet the Cat’s Collections. A mix and match game of shapes, lengths and stacking combinations, create a series of impressive earring sets, far from basic, but yet so easy to wear at all times of the days and in any kind of occasion.

MEET THE CAT

Meet the cat is a small design studio based in Athens, Greece. They create conceptual jewelry and object collections focusing on geometry and minimal aesthetic while borrowing concepts by architectural movements. They love experimentation and exploring new techniques and mediums trying to bring to life our imaginary objects. THE DESIGNER Ioanna Koulouri, the designer behind the brand, launched her first collection in 2005 and since then her collections were exhibited in many stores and galleries in Greece and abroad. She has participated in various exhibitions and has cooperated with designers on synergic projects. Ioanna was born in Athens and raised in a creative family. From a very young age she loved tools, materials and techniques. She studied Statistics at the University of Piraeus and worked in advertising for a few years, until she gave in to her love for design and making.
