Christos Vlioras

Christos Vliora’s forms are characterized by the strict lines of industrial design, combined with the plain lines of primitive ceramics from Latin America and Africa. The range of objects he creates consists of purely utilitarian objects, ideal for everyday use but also unique, one-off ceramic art pieces. Either or, his designs are created in such a way that a unique and often non-repetitive result is achieved. Simple and yet so beautiful. Christos Vlioras studied technology engineering at the TEI of Chalkida, where he graduated in 1995. His involvement with ceramic art began in 1987 at the art center of the Municipality of Chalkida under the direction of Hariklia Mytara. He then attended ceramic lessons at the workshop of Daphne Lambrou and then at the School of Ceramics of the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Nikaia. He’s been producing his own ceramic designs since 2001. His ceramics’ workshop is in Kypseli. He’s been collaborating with “It’s all, oh so souvenir to me!” design platform since July 2013.
