“Hthesimeravrio” is an artificial word in which the last letter of “yesterday” is the first letter of “today” and the last letter of “today” is the first letter of “tomorrow” becomes the basis for the creation of a unique chronology.
In greek “hthes” (χθες) means “yesterday”, “simera” (σήμερα) means “today” and “avrio” (αύριο) means “tomorrow”.
The artwork uses a sequence of colors (from cool to warm) and 13 specially designed characters (one for each letter of the word) to depict a fraction of time in which the past, present, and future coexist.
The creator invites us to “post moments we remember, situations we experience, and plans for the future on the colorful surface of the poster using post-it notes.”
A game that, when we look at it later, makes us realize the fluidity of time and our fragile yet sweet existence within it.
