Description

The role of λithi, the Greek souvenir, is to act as an abstract hourglass that shows the flow of time and allowing the tourist to count the days until their next holidays to Greece.

The souvenir is made out of greek white marble, and on the inside you can find greek olive oil and seawater. These three materials were chosen in order to represent the diverse Greek landscape. The marble represents the mountains; the water represents the sea and the olive oil, the sun, allowing the tourist to take a piece of Greece back home.

The main concept behind λithi, is based on the role of the souvenir, which is an object of memories from a visit to a specific destination. The purpose of this product is to allow each tourist to be able to add a personal experience from his/her vacation to it, in order to create an emotional bond with the object.
